HELP Africa's mission is to serve as a catalyst for social change and improved economic well-being of individuals, families in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our overall goals are to promote and support dignity, economic independence, and job creation.

Our primary strategy is to provide technical and organizational assistance to community-based organizations or social entrepreneurs in building their capacity for sustainable management of proven, community-based development efforts in their own communities. These assistance programs include the development of microfinance initiatives, micro-enterprise development and capacity building, local leadership development initiatives, and conflict management training.

We further support this strategy through the connection of local and U.S. universities to boost international research opportunities, study abroad programs, and cultural exchange. In addition, we assist in the acculturation of African immigrants in the United States, by facilitating English instruction and opportunities for entrepreneurship capacity.
